Casual Stores & Keg Attendants

We have the job for you and are looking at welcoming new recruits for an exciting Summer of Cricket. We are looking for experienced, speedy, organised and reliable Stores & Keg Attendants to work throughout the week and on Major Event Days at Adelaide Oval.

Ideal candidates must have the ability and desire to go above & beyond, be able to multi-task, have a positive ‘can do’ attitude and be a team player. Key duties include:

  • Assisting in the coordination of stock deliveries at and to Adelaide Oval.
  • Assisting in the keg and cellar operations.
  • Assisting in the coordination of warehouse stock counts.
  • Compliance with the business rules (WHS, RSA, HACCP)
  • Upholding excellent customer service standards.
  • Any other duty as assigned from time to time.

The Stores & Keg Attendant will possess:

  • Experience managing high volumes of stock, using inventory systems and demonstration of stock control. 
  • Multi-site operations an advantage and previous stadium experience preferred (not essential)
  • Knowledge in keg and cellar operations.
  • The ability to maintain high workloads, and follow schedules and routines to meet deadlines within specified time frames..
  • The ability to follow reasonable instructions in a safe and timely manner.
  • The ability to demonstrate initiative and innovative thinking.
  • Maturity, self-confidence and judgement.
  • The ability to work effectively under pressure and on your feet for extended periods.
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to follow SOPs and SWPs with a strong understanding of WHS and HACCP.
  • Correct use of inventory systems.
  • Strong focus on teamwork, with the ability to work well with all departments i.e. purchasing, F&B, cleaning etc.
  • Good record keeping skills.

The successful applicant must hold a current Responsible Service of Alcohol and Forklift License (preferred). 

Please note that this role requires ‘after hours’  work on Major Event Days at Adelaide Oval, which includes weekend and public holidays. Avaliability for the upcoming Test Match on Friday 6 December - Tuesday 10 December is essential.
