Koffee Ink Supervisor (Full-Time - Parental Leave cover)

The Koffee Ink Cafe, based at the iconic Adelaide Oval, is looking for a Full Time Supervisor to join the team and drive the success of the Koffee Ink brand and take full ownership of the day-to-day operations of the café. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with guests, enhancing their experience, and anticipating the needs of our regulars. 

We are looking for someone to cover a parental leave contract for 12 months. This role is ideal for someone to work Monday to Friday day shifts, plus Adelaide Oval major events, which may occur out of hours and weekends. 

 What you'll be doing:

  • Leading and managing a close-knit team by fostering a culture of exceptional performance.
  • Working with the Kitchen team to plan out weekly specials and seasonal menus. 
  • Building and maintaining rapport with our guests to ensure repeat business.
  • Writing team rosters to ensure operational needs are met. 
  • Assisting with staff training to ensure we deliver world-class experiences. 

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Relevant industry experience, preferably in a large volume café environment. 
  • Availability to work full-time hours (38 hours per week). 
  • Experience in managing staff and leading team initiatives, including workforce planning, driving motivation and training and development.
  • Passion to drive and influence change while thinking innovatively to achieve great things.
  • Ability to maintain high workloads and meet deadlines while remaining calm and effective under pressure.

Please note that some out-of-hours work will be a requirement of this role, in line with the business operations of Adelaide Oval. This includes weekend work and working on Major Event Days at Adelaide Oval or the surrounding associated venues.
