Retail Hospitality Manager - Full Time - $75,000 and $80,000 

Want to be part of the action, working some of the biggest events in town? As the Retail Hospitality Manager, you will report to the Retail Hospitality Operations Manager. You will lead by example with a hands-on approach and serve as a key contact between our stakeholders, senior management team, and manage up to 400 hospitality team members on major event days. You will support the wider Retail Hospitality team in thriving in high-pressure environments while delivering exceptional service to meet the expectations of our guests at Adelaide Oval.

What you'll be doing:

  • Foster a positive, engaging team culture aligned with organisational values, promoting a fun and inclusive environment across the casual Retail Hospitality team.
  • Maximising profitability by ensuring Retail Outlets are stocked and equipped to maintain an exceptional standard.
  • Provide hands-on support, leadership, training and guidance to the Retail Hospitality division's day-to-day and major event day operations. 
  • Manage monthly stocktakes and collaborate with Procurement and Logistics to ensure accurate P&L reporting.
  • Planning and coordinating large-scale events that deliver service quality and operational control. 

What you'll bring:

  • Excellent working knowledge of the Food & Beverage industry (experience working in stadiums is preferable).
  • Strong leadership skills, including recruitment, training, and performance management. Proven ability to coordinate multiple outlets simultaneously, with excellent problem-solving under pressure.
  • Experience working in a comparable food and beverage management role with a large casual workforce with demonstrated ability to lead, engage and support staff workforces in a stadium, multi-venue or large hospitality environment.
  • Ability to take a balanced approach to work, managing hands-on game day support, back-end reporting and administrative duties.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships.
  • Relevant qualifications in Food & Beverage (including hospitality, business, marketing or related fields).
  • Responsible Person license (RSA).
  • Strong knowledge of HACCP, WHS and food safety compliance.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and public holidays for major events.
  • Familiarity with POS systems, stock management software and reporting tools.
  • Bilingual communication skills are a preference.
